Ink Grade Vineyard

NAPA VALLEY

We source Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon clone 6 and 4 from this vineyard site. The vineyard is nestled in the northeastern foothills of the Vaca Mountain Range between Ink grade Road and Chiles Pope Valley road. The geographical location with an elevation of about 1200 ft above sea level and the steep sloping hills creates great conditions for berry maturity. Because of the absence of fog during summer, the grapes receive more hours of sun exposure but with lower midday temperatures than Valley floor thanks to the vineyard elevation. Although Bell doesn’t label their wines as organic, the grapes in this vineyard are organically grown and certified by the CCOF (Certified Organic Foundation).
